A civil funeral gives you the opportunity to celebrate the life of your loved one by creating a personalised and dignified ceremony which reflects the individual wishes of the deceased and their family.
A civil funeral can be held almost anywhere you wish and is appropriate for cremations, burials at non-religious burial grounds, woodland burial sites and any number of other locations.
You can ask your Funeral Director to contact me or speak to me directly and I will then liaise with your chosen Funeral Director. I will arrange to come and meet with you and spend time talking about your loved one in order to create a dignified and meaningful ceremony that incorporates your wishes and requirements. You may wish to include music, readings or poetry which have a special significance for you. It is most important that your ceremony meets your expectations and the time I spend with you will enable me to create a service that has true meaning for you and your family.
When a loved one dies, family and close friends are often faced with many choices and decisions about the funeral arrangements. With such a wide range of choices, at an emotionally distressing time, it is often easy to forget the one question that is, perhaps, the most important - what kind of funeral do you really want?
I have trained with and am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and I adhere to their code of ethics.
Please feel free to contact me for further information and an informal chat.
I very much look forward to meeting you:
